Returns & Refunds Policy

No Returns for Sizing or Change of Mind

We do not accept returns or refunds for:

  • Incorrect sizing
  • Change of mind
  • Personal preference
  • To qualify for a full refund, items must be returned with all original tags attached and in the original bag. Returns missing tags or the original bag will receive a 50% refund only.

Please ensure you carefully review all product descriptions, measurements, and images before placing your order.

-If the items are washed and we detect it a refund will not be processed. We do not accept any refunds of clothes which have been washed.

Swimwear Hygiene Policy

For hygiene reasons, swimwear and swimming shorts cannot be returned or refunded if:

  • They have been worn, used, or washed
  • Any hygiene seal or liner has been removed

Returns are not accepted for swimwear due to incorrect sizing, change of mind, or personal preference.

This does not affect your statutory rights.


Your Legal Rights (UK Customers)

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Under UK law, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if an item you receive is:

  • Faulty or damaged
  • Not as described
  • Not fit for its intended purpose

For online purchases, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, unless an exemption applies (such as hygiene-sealed items once unsealed or made-to-order items where production has begun).

If you choose to cancel within this period, you must notify us clearly and return the item in accordance with our returns instructions.

We may reduce the refund amount if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it (for example, signs of wear or use beyond trying on).

Where applicable, refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.


Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you believe you have received a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us at tectonicuk@gmail.com as soon as possible after delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographic evidence

Where reasonably possible, items should be:

  • Returned in original condition
  • Include original tags and packaging

If your claim is approved, we will offer a remedy in line with UK consumer law, which may include a repair, replacement, or refund.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law.


Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is confirmed to be faulty or incorrect.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in return transit.

For international orders, customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees, or shipping charges.


Incorrect Address Policy

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, return fees (up to £5) may be deducted from any refund where applicable.

We are not responsible for delays, losses, or additional costs caused by incorrect shipping details.


Pre-Orders & Made-to-Order Items

All pre-order and made-to-order items are produced specifically for each customer.

Once production has begun or the pre-order window has closed:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled
  • Changes cannot be made
  • Refunds are not available except where required under UK consumer law


Mystery Boxes

All Mystery Box purchases are final sale and non-refundable unless an item is faulty or not as described.


Care & Liability

All products are inspected prior to dispatch.

We are not responsible for damage caused after delivery due to improper washing, handling, misuse, or normal wear and tear. Please follow all care instructions provided.


Chargebacks & Fraud Prevention

Orders may be documented prior to dispatch for quality control and fraud prevention purposes. This information may be used as evidence in the event of payment disputes or chargebacks.
